Rick at Liquid Transformations is helping me with this and he WILL make it work without having to go through undue gyrations. One other problem I've had which is also minor and can be dealt with, is that the threads on the mag are indeed the same as a rem 870, but a washer has to be made to adapt it and the EAA does not have the same ball detent tightening arrangement with the mag cap as the Remington.

I don't consider this a problem because as I said, the only ammo I plan on shooting out of this gun is either 00 buck or 3 inch turkey loads and the rem 2 3/4 magnum 12 pellet loads would be my first choice and I p an on tryiong a couple of other brands so I know that I have othe options but will also avoid the Federal 2 3/4, Mine is set for magnums and not Standard/Light loads. On the 2 3/4 shells I only plan to use the gun with 00 buck, but it did stovepipe with three different 5-round boxes of Federal 2 3/4 00 buck, but not with Winchester brown box US military, S&B, or Rem 12 pellet 2 3/4 magnums. On the choke tube, I plan on grinding the excess length beyond the threads to make it fit. They screw in just fine but stop before they are completely seated, about 3mm gap. I have test fit Benelli / Beretta chokes and they don't seat all the way. I have trouble with anything 2 3/4" less than 00 Buck, It just won't cycle completely, Stove-pipes most of the time. Nicksack wrote:I purchased one of these last January, SARSASP. I ordered one of those PAST strap-on recoil pads for practice shooting. However the 3 inch shells really put the hurt on the shooter out of such a lightweight gun, 5 3/4 pounds unloaded. But you could load one 3 inch mag load in the chamber and eight 2 3/4 shells in the tube with the 3 round extension for a total of 9 rounds. The standard 00 buck 2 3/4 load is 9 pellets and 3 inch mag are 15 pellets. I had a box that I fired through the gun without thinking that they'd be hard to replace. White elephant used to have them and may have them again at some point. My favorite 00 buck loads are the Remington 2 3/4 magnum express 12 pellet loads but due to the ammo shortage these are hard to find. Keep in mind that these capacities are with 2 3/4 shells and not 3 inch magnums. a 3 inch extension give It a capacity of 8 and the extension would stick out past an 18 inch barrel but with the door breacher in place it's flush. It has a 5 round capacity and has an 18 inch barrel minus the screw-in door breacher. On a military style firearm, Function is way more important than cosmetics and that's the only reason to have to have a recessed screw is for "Looks". So I went to the hardware store and got a couple different sizes of set screws to try out that were long enough to stick out a little so I could see WTF was going on with the damn thing and found the right size and thread screw and got it tightened down so now I'm going to locktite the mo-fo in there and since it sticks out a little if I ever have to remove it I'll be able to be sure that I can put the wrench in the hole without having to put any hair around it first, and I'll be able to see what IM doing. I shot the gun again today with some different types of 2 3/4 buckshot only thing I DO NOT LIKE about this gun is that the elevated front sight which is otherwise an excellent sight, as is the rear peep with combat type protector wings, is that the front sight is secured by a recessed allen head set screw and when it first came loose I got lucky and was able to stick a 1/16ths hex bit in the hole and it just barely reached the stupid recessed set screw and luckily wasn't a stinking metric hex so I was able to tighten it.īut then next time I shot it, the set screw came loose again and I stuck my bit in the hole and couldn't feel the bit go into a hex recess so I figured the damn set screw must have come all the way out.
#SARPASP TUBE EXTENSION FULL#
American Rifleman did a review and they said Remington, bu I giot a Beretta choke for mine (extra full Turkey Hunting) and it fits.Īnd the other thing is this gun takes Rem 870 mag tube extensions and I have one on order with RLHAS.

I've been wanting a 935 in combat configuration but those sell for around $600 and these sell for around four.īut these guns have two advantages that the Mossbergs don't have at least to my knowledge and that is that thes guns come with a saw-tooth door breecher ported gizmo but it's screw-in and is the same threads as benelli and Beretta. This is an update, but basically this gun is made in Turkey where a lot of the mossbergs are made but this gun is a different design, more like a Rem 1100 rather than a Mossberg 935.

I posted something about this gun in the general firearm discussiion forum under the title, "I gots a new Gun" and yoyu can read meor about it there if you're interested in one of these guns.
